Junior Sales Representative (Part-Time, EU, Remote) - Revel
Revel is an open-source event management and ticketing platform built for the queer community. They handle everything from ticketing and RSVPs to questionnaire-based access control, multi-language support, and Apple Wallet passes, so organizers can focus on creating great events.
They are looking for someone to help them grow by bringing queer event organizers onto the platform.
They operate mostly in the DACH area, so speaking German fluently gives you an advantage.
About the Role
You will be responsible for bringing queer event organizers onto the Revel platform.
Responsibilities
- Identify and reach out to queer event organizers, collectives, and venues
- Walk them through what Revel can do for their events
- Help onboard new organizations and be their first point of contact
Requirements
- You know the queer events world — the parties, the festivals, the community nights, the organizers behind them
- You're a confident communicator who can start conversations and build trust
- You're self-driven and comfortable working independently
- No sales experience required — they care more about your network and your understanding of the community
Compensation
- €15/h
- 15% revenue share in perpetuity on every organization you bring in
That means: for every organizer you onboard, you earn 15% of what Revel makes from them. Not for a quarter, not for a year, forever.
Example: Say you onboard a festival that sells 2,000 tickets at EUR 40 each. Revel charges 1.5% + €0.25 per ticket — that's €1,700 in platform fees. Your 15% cut: €255 from a single edition. The festival runs every year, you keep earning every year. Onboard a handful of organizers running regular events, and the revenue share alone adds up fast.
Details
- Fully remote, part-time contractor position
- 3-month contract, extensible
- 8 hours/week
Revel is fully open source, so you can verify this.
