About the Role
SENIOR NETWORK AUTOMATION ENGINEER (M/W/D)
Wien, Klagenfurt, Graz, Kralsruhe, Remote | Full-time

Responsibilities
- You and your team are responsible for the further development of our worldwide network, consisting of over 100 locations worldwide
- You work independently and according to your preferences on a project basis on the development, improvement and future-proofing of the various components of our network stack:
- Core network
- Automation workflows
- Network-related services (e.g. DDoS mitigation, RPKI)
- Monitoring and alerting
- You define and document standards for network setups or workflows
- You are the contact person for complex tasks or troubleshooting
- You work closely with a team of Network Architects, Network and Software Engineers
Requirements
- Solid and proven network expertise and several years of professional experience in a service provider environment
- Understanding complex network topologies and technical relationships beyond the boundaries of your own specialist area (compute, storage, etc.) is easy for you
- Automation, its design and implementation is your thing
- Knowledge of the feature set and troubleshooting options on network platforms from Juniper, Arista, Cisco and the like
- Experience with routing (BGP, ISIS), control plane (RSVP, EVPN) and associated data plane technologies (Legacy IP, IPv6, MPLS, VXLAN)
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Go, Ansible and git
- Experience in handling Linux system tools and common monitoring tools
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
Compensation
- Salary: Minimum €63,000
