About Tiksplode
We're looking for Trend Scouts and UGC Video Creators to join Tiksplode, a marketplace where apps and products get short-form videos built on formats that are already going viral on TikTok.
Compensation & Benefits
- Trend Scouts: $5 USD per approved video ($8.75 on "Get creative" campaigns). A 5-video job pays $25+ (approx. 1 hour of work).
- UGC Creators: $15 USD per approved video (approx. 30 mins of work). Higher rates apply for "Get creative" campaigns ($22.50/video) and jobs with add-ons (extra formats/hooks).
- Flexibility: 100% remote, work from anywhere, and claim jobs whenever you want.
- No Minimums: You choose which jobs to take.
- Payouts: Every 2 weeks via PayPal.
- Onboarding: Scouts can start after a quick demo review; creators can start after passing vetting.
Trend Scout
You find the winners. Given a customer's app, you hunt TikTok for videos that are already pulling big view counts and submit the links. No filming or editing required—just a sharp eye for what's working.
Requirements
- Strong feel for TikTok: trends, formats, and why videos take off.
- Ability to find videos of similar apps/products with 100,000+ views (the higher, the better).
- For "Get creative" campaigns: ability to spot related-category trends an app can be worked into and explain the angle in a sentence or two.
- Proficient written English for short pitch notes.
- Self-managed: claimed jobs run on a 1-hour per reference timer.
- Must be 18+ and own a PayPal account for payouts.
- Vetting: A short training module and quiz, followed by one demo find of each type, reviewed by our team.
UGC Video Creator
You make the videos. Given approved reference videos, you shoot original UGC for the customer's app: real, native-feeling videos ready to post.
Requirements
- Smartphone that shoots clean video (iPhone or Android; you only see jobs for apps your device can install).
- Comfortable on camera with a natural, native-to-the-feed delivery (not "polished ad" energy).
- Ability to recreate a reference's format and hook with your own footage.
- Native or near-native fluency in at least one language you'd film in.
- Basic editing skills: clean 9:16 vertical delivery; for multi-format jobs, film landscape and crop to each ratio.
- Must be 18+ and own a PayPal account for payouts.
- Vetting: Profile setup, short training and quiz, then a demo video we review (denied applicants can retry).
