Abby Connect: Full Stack Developer/ Salesforce Engineer

Headquarters: Las Vegas, NV URL: https://abby.com

About the Role

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong Salesforce expertise who can translate business use cases into end-to-end technical solutions. This role is ideal for someone who not only enjoys coding, but also thrives on critical thinking, problem-solving, and owning projects independently from scope to delivery.

You’ll work directly with the CEO and business leaders to deliver a wide variety of technical projects across the company. These range from Salesforce development (customizations, Apex, integrations), to maintaining our website and PHP applications, to building internal tools and AI-driven automations. You will also coordinate with our external software development company to ensure alignment across shared systems.

We value curiosity, adaptability, and leveraging AI coding tools to accelerate development.

  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • FLSA Status: Exempt
  • Department: Technology (reports directly to CEO)
  • Location: Remote (must overlap at least 6 hours with 6am–2pm PST)

Responsibilities

  • Act as Salesforce administrator and developer, maintaining workflows, Apex code, integrations, and ensuring Salesforce remains the company’s source of truth.
  • Translate business use cases into practical technical solutions across the stack.
  • Maintain and improve company web properties, including PHP-based applications and WordPress.
  • Design and build internal tools and process improvements (automation scripts, data cleanup, reporting tools).
  • Take ownership of ad hoc technical challenges across departments, delivering end-to-end solutions.
  • Coordinate with external development partners to avoid conflicts and ensure cross-system alignment.
  • Manage your own projects, including requirements gathering, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Apply critical thinking to evaluate tradeoffs between speed, scalability, and usability.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to boost productivity and quality.
  • Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the design, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement of applications.

Required Qualifications

  • Solid coding experience in at least two of the following: Python, PHP, TypeScript (Node.js/React), Salesforce Apex.
  • Hands-on Salesforce experience (Apex, Flows, integrations, data management).
  • Ability to connect business needs to technical solutions, not just code to spec.
  • Proven ability to own development work end-to-end, from requirements to delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in ambiguous environments with minimal oversight.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience balancing multiple stakeholder priorities in a project.
  • Availability for at least 6 hours of overlap between 6 AM – 2 PM PST.
  • Comfort working in lean, fast-moving teams with high autonomy.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Familiarity with WordPress is a plus.
  • Exposure to multiple languages or frameworks beyond your core (React, Angular, Django, Laravel).
  • Experience in SaaS or AI-driven tech environments.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git workflows, deployment pipelines).

What We’re Looking For

  • A solution-oriented developer who can map messy business workflows into clean, automated systems.
  • Someone who can act as their own PM—scoping, coordinating assets, communicating with stakeholders, and delivering.
  • A self-starter who can identify opportunities for improvement and drive them to completion.
  • A team player who can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Someone who is excited about the potential of AI-assisted development.
