About the Role

In the last 12 months, we have built Fonio into the leading AI telephone provider in the DACH region. Now we are scaling to all of Europe – and revolutionizing how SMEs communicate with each other.

As a Founding Product Engineer, you will take on end-to-end ownership: from the idea to the prototype to the finished feature that is used by thousands of companies throughout Europe.

Responsibilities

Further development of our platform in NestJS & React
Direct exchange with customers (support, feedback, user tests)
Medium term: Taking over the feature / opportunity prioritization of our Voice AI

Requirements

Extreme Growth Mindset
A lot of experience with TypeScript, React and Node.js (ideally NestJS) in a SaaS product
Pragmatism: You break down features into the essential parts that immediately create customer value - and develop them further with new insights
Experience in direct customer contact (support, user research, feedback interviews)
Native-level German to actively help shape our AI

Screening Call – 20 minutes to get to know each other
Technical Interview – 60–90 minutes including Coding Challenge
Culture Fit Interview – 60 minutes on working methods & expectations
