Senior Full-Stack Engineers (Next.js + Python/FastAPI)

Role: Senior Full-Stack Engineer Location: Remote Compensation: $20–$25 USD/hr (depending on experience) Duration: 12-week initial engagement (possible extension) Start Date: ASAP (within 1–2 weeks)

About the Role

I am hiring two senior full-stack engineers for an initial 12-week product engineering engagement. You will join an active product development team with a well-organized backlog and clearly defined priorities. We are looking for engineers who can understand the existing product quickly and begin contributing without extensive hand-holding.

Responsibilities

  • Building and improving production features
  • Developing frontend functionality using Next.js
  • Developing backend services using Python and FastAPI
  • Reviewing technical designs and contributing to architectural decisions
  • Troubleshooting production-level engineering problems
  • Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of software engineering experience
  • Strong product development background
  • Hands-on Next.js experience
  • Strong Python and FastAPI experience
  • Good understanding of system design and software architecture
  • Experience building and supporting production-grade applications
  • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly

Bonus: Experience with Claude Code, Claude Skills, or similar AI-assisted engineering workflows is a strong advantage.

Schedule & Availability

  • This is a remote position.
  • You must be able to provide meaningful IST and EST overlap and remain available until approximately 10:00 PM IST.
  • You may start later in the morning and manage your schedule accordingly.
  • Freelancers are welcome, but you must be able to consistently provide the weekly availability you commit to.
  • You must personally perform the work.
