Location: New York, NY (HYBRID - 2-3 days onsite/week)

About the Role
Senior Telecom Solution Engineer / Solutions Architect needed to lead a Channel Bank and legacy telecom retirement initiative at a regulated utility.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate legacy TDM-based systems (Channel Bank, POTS, 56K, T1)
- Map service dependencies
- Design phased migrations to modern Ethernet, MPLS, fiber, and wireless solutions
- Service inventory & dependency analysis
- Migration planning
- Carrier engagement (ordering, provisioning, turn-ups, disconnects)
- Cutover leadership
- Risk management
- Formal decommissioning to realize cost savings
Requirements
- Deep hands-on telecom experience
- TDM/POTS/T1 retirement experience
- Ethernet/MPLS/fiber migrations experience
- Carrier coordination experience
- Change management experience in utility/regulated environments
- Must be local to New York
