[Hiring] Gaming Content Creator / Social Media Manager for GTA V Mod
Source: reddit-r-forhire
Pay: $15–25/hr (depending on experience and portfolio)
About the Role
We’re looking for someone to help create and run content for Los Santos Alive, a GTA V mod focused on making the world feel genuinely alive through dynamic NPC conversations, police interactions, dispatch, AI partners, and emergent gameplay.
This is not just a video editing job. I’m looking for someone who can take content from idea → finished post.
Responsibilities
- Coming up with video ideas and hooks.
- Recording gameplay or working with footage provided by the team.
- Editing TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and Reels.
- Posting content to our accounts.
- Writing titles and captions.
- Analyzing performance metrics to iterate and improve.
- Turning new updates and features into engaging content.
- Helping grow the accounts over time.
Note: A lot of LSA content is based around random or unexpected gameplay moments, so I care more about your understanding of what makes gaming content entertaining than your ability to make a super polished corporate promo video.
Requirements
Ideally, you:
- Have experience making gaming content.
- Understand the landscape of TikTok, Shorts, and Reels.
- Can edit confidently (CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc. are all fine).
- Understand hooks, pacing, and retention.
- Can come up with your own ideas instead of waiting for exact instructions.
- Are comfortable managing and posting content.
- Have an interest in GTA V, modding, or gaming in general.
You do not need a large personal following.
Compensation & Terms
- Pay: $15–25/hr depending on experience and portfolio.
- Structure: I’m looking for someone long-term, but we will start with a small paid trial first.
- Bonuses: There may be performance bonuses for content that performs particularly well.
How to Apply
Send a Reddit PM with the following information:
- A few examples of content you’ve made.
- Any TikTok / YouTube / Instagram accounts you’ve worked on.
- Whether you’ve made gaming content before.
- What editing software you use.
- Your hourly rate.
- Roughly how many videos you could realistically make per week.
Important: If you only want to be given footage and edit it, this probably isn’t the right role. I am specifically looking for someone who wants to make the content, post it, test ideas, and help grow the audience. If you understand GTA/gaming content especially well, please mention that in your message.
