About the Role
The mission of the Senior Sales Representative in education is to convert qualified leads into enrolled students by managing the entire sales cycle, from the first contact to enrollment. Through a fine understanding of the objectives and challenges of future students, he or she recommends the most suitable programs, demonstrates the value of the EFA offer, and creates a strategic, fluid, and reassuring support experience, directly contributing to revenue growth and the company's influence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Management:
- Contact and engage potential students via calls, emails, and other communication channels.
- Follow up with leads to maintain relationships and guide them through the decision-making process.
- Maintain and update the database with accurate and up-to-date information.
- Sales and Enrollments:
- Understand the educational needs and goals of potential students.
- Provide detailed information on courses, programs, and other offers.
- Answer questions and concerns to help prospects make informed decisions.
- Guide prospects through the enrollment process and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
- Customer Service:
- Offer exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for potential and current students.
- Assist students with any issues or concerns before, during, and after enrollment.
- Product Knowledge:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the courses, programs, and educational services offered.
- Stay informed of new offers, program changes, and industry trends.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and report sales activities, lead conversion rates, and other key performance indicators.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Training and Development:
- Continuously improve sales techniques and product knowledge through training and professional development.
- Share best practices and strategies with team members to improve overall performance.
- Upselling and Cross-selling:
- Identify opportunities to upsell additional courses or programs to current students.
- Promote complementary educational services to enhance the student experience and generate additional sales.
Requirements
- Bilingualism (French and English) is mandatory
- Bachelor's degree in business, education, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- More than 2 years of professional experience as a sales representative
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals and meet or exceed sales targets
- Proficiency in using CRM software (Hubspot), email marketing tools, and other sales-related technologies
- Passion for innovation and knowledge of AI solutions
- Ability to show initiative and act proactively
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Experience in the e-learning and/or finance sector (considered an asset)
Conditions and Benefits
