About ICEYE
ICEYE builds and operates the world's largest SAR satellite constellation. I lead Platform: three teams (Core Platform, Developer Enablement, SRE) that run the foundation engineering teams ship on.
Why It Is Hard
We run Kubernetes in public cloud, in our own data centers, and inside customer sites that are air-gapped. Same platform, same tooling, no internet. Satellite tasking and image delivery run on it, so downtime is not an option.
Stack: Go, Python, K8s, Terraform/OpenTofu, Istio, Vault, LGTM, OpenTelemetry.
Open Positions
We are hiring in Espoo and our Berlin office:
- Staff/Senior Platform and DevOps Engineer: own the Kubernetes platform across cloud and on-prem, build & extend tooling in Go, set technical direction. Apply
- Senior/Staff Platform Observability Engineer: define the direction for our observability for all engineering teams, build tooling around it. Apply
