Job Title: [Hiring] (Online) UI/UX Designer for a Mobile PWA

Source: reddit-r-forhire

About the Role

I am a solo founder finishing a PWA with a twist. The product is functional and fully built (Next.js, mobile-first), but the UI has outgrown my design ability. The screens are data-dense, the hierarchy is overwhelming, and the charts do not communicate what they should. The project requires a designer's eye for flow, restraint, and legibility.

Scope of Work

  • Kickoff: A paid 1-hour session to review the live app (~8 mobile screens, access provided) against my existing design rules to identify necessary changes and their priority.
  • Redesign: If we are a fit, an additional 5–10 hours of work redesigning the screens. This includes layout, hierarchy, spacing, and 1–3 simple charts. We will focus on the "worst" screens first.
  • Deliverables: Exported PNG frames of each redesigned screen/state. Figma is acceptable as a tool, but the exports and specs are the required deliverables.

Compensation

  • Rate: $20/hour
  • Payment Method: PayPal

How to Apply

To apply, please comment or DM with the following:

  • Your portfolio (mobile app work is preferred).
  • A 2–3 sentence explanation on how you would approach a data-dense screen that must remain calm and readable.

Note: No agencies, please.
