[Hiring] [Internship] Content & PR | Early Stage Startup | Crea8

Source: reddit-r-forhire

Role Overview

  • Location: Remote
  • Joining: Immediate
  • Duration: 2 months (with potential PPO)
  • Compensation: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000/month + Letter of Recommendation (LoR)

About Crea8

"Will this product work for me?" sounds like a simple question. The skincare industry has spent decades making sure it isn't. Most skincare content online is confusing, biased, or brand-driven. We think that's broken.

Crea8 (crea8.co.in) is an AI-powered recommendation engine that decodes ingredients and matches people to skincare that actually works for their skin concerns, lifestyle, and goals. We're now taking this engine to beauty brands themselves, licensing it as a SaaS product. We're early stage, moving fast, and building something that matters in a space that desperately needs more honesty and simplicity.

Why This Role Exists

To every content writer reading this: AI is not taking your job. What AI can't do is think originally, write with personality, or convince a reader to care about a startup they've never heard of. That's what this role is about.

This is a PR and content role. It is not social media management, graphic design, or running ads. You will write things worth reading and get them in front of people who actually read.

Responsibilities

  • Content: Research trends in skincare, AI, and D2C. Write sharp, opinionated long-form pieces for our blog, LinkedIn, Medium, and Substack.
  • PR & Outreach: Build a target list of independent bloggers, beauty writers, startup journalists, podcast hosts, and more. Write pitches that don't sound like pitches. Get Crea8 mentioned, featured, or written about. Track everything.

Requirements

  • You write well and you know it.
  • You've done some form of content, comms, or outreach work before (even personal projects count).
  • You can research a topic you know nothing about and produce something sharp within a day.
  • You're okay with ambiguity. You'll work directly with the founder, not inside a structured corporate program.
  • You actually want to learn how early-stage startups build credibility from scratch.

Bonus Points

  • You read newsletters, blogs, or substacks for fun.
  • You understand what makes an email get opened vs. ignored.
  • You've written for or pitched to external publications before.
  • You're curious about skincare, D2C, or AI.
