About the Role
We are a 5-person startup building software for cemetery and public-records management, helping municipalities manage data for real families. This is a broad, hands-on Individual Contributor (IC) role with real product and infrastructure ownership.
Compensation

Tech Stack
- Backend: NestJS/TypeScript, PostgreSQL + PostGIS, MikroORM, Inngest
- Frontend: React + TanStack Query, MapLibre + PMTiles
- Mobile: React Native + Expo
- Infrastructure: AWS (ECS Fargate, RDS, S3, Bedrock, WAF) + Terraform
- Monitoring/Tools: Grafana, Sentry, QGIS/GeoPackage (geospatial)
Requirements
- 8+ years of production experience.
- Full-stack TypeScript proficiency.
- Experience owning a Terraform/AWS stack (not just consuming one).
- Strong relational database fundamentals.
- Comfortable working without a playbook.

Expectations
We lean hard on AI tooling, but the bar is human-reviewed, well-tested code; "the model said it worked" is not a defense. We are remote by design and hold quarterly offsites.
