About the Role
We are building planning software for large-scale factories, predominantly in the chemical industry. Our processes are complex, involving constant new edge cases and uncertainties that require robust solutions.
We are looking for a REAL full-stack engineer. This is not a role for someone who only knows React and basic ORM usage. We are looking for someone who understands the full spectrum of development:
- UX design principles.
- The nitty-gritty of databases (MVCC, transaction isolation levels, partitioning, etc.).
- Everything in between.
You have likely been the strongest engineer in your previous companies and are looking for an environment where you have peers, rather than people you need to train.
What We Are Looking For
You might be a great fit if you:
- Can argue why REST is often a smarter choice than GraphQL in many situations.
- Understand why integration tests may be more effective than blindly following the testing pyramid.
- Believe that DAOs or query builders are superior to ORMs.
- Have "seen stuff and fixed shit."
- Care more about a successful product than just the "tech stuff."
