Job Title: Traditional Artists for Short Drawing Videos (Ongoing Monthly Work)
Source: reddit-r-forhire
About the Role
We are an app dedicated to helping people learn to draw. We are looking for traditional artists to create short, engaging clips of their drawing process to help users discover our platform. We are seeking creators for ongoing, monthly collaboration.
How It Works
The video creation process is straightforward:
- Filming: Film your drawing process with a phone positioned above your table. No face reveal is required.
- Subjects: You have creative freedom. You can draw characters from anime, games, cartoons, fandoms, or academic portraits.
- Format: Videos should be 16–21 seconds long.
- Editing: Simple editing is required (combining shots and adding music).
Requirements
- Traditional artists only: Strong drawing skills are required. (Digital-only creators are not a fit for this project).
- Equipment: A phone and decent lighting are sufficient for filming.
- Editing: Ability to perform simple video editing.
- Portfolio: A small social media following is perfectly fine; we just want to see your art posted somewhere.
Compensation
- Test Period: We start with a paid test period of 15 videos to ensure a good fit for both sides.
- Monthly Pay: After the test period, compensation ranges from $500 to $1,500 per month, depending on the number of videos produced.
- Bonuses: Additional bonuses are available for videos that perform well.
How to Apply
To apply, please DM the poster with the following:
- Links to your Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube.
- A portfolio showcasing your traditional drawings.
- Note: A clip showing your drawing process is a big plus.
