About the Role

I am looking for an experienced full-stack developer or small development team to build a new bilingual marketplace platform. This is a custom marketplace project, not a basic WordPress or classifieds template.

The final project scope, milestones, and total budget will be agreed upon with the selected developer before development begins.

Core Platform Requirements

The marketplace must support the following features:

• Language: Arabic + English (RTL/LTR support)
• Design: Responsive desktop and mobile design
• Authentication: User registration/login and phone OTP authentication
• User Management: Profiles, dashboards, and user/category management
• Listings: Create/edit/delete/renew listings, up to 10 images per listing, and listing expiration
• Search & Discovery: Multiple categories/subcategories, search, filters, sorting, and price/location filters
• Communication: WhatsApp/phone seller contact
• Moderation: Admin approval before listings go live, and user/listing reporting
• Admin Tools: Admin dashboard and basic analytics
• Infrastructure: Secure media storage

Scalability: The architecture should initially support approximately 10,000 users and 20,000+ listings and be designed to scale further.

What I’m Looking For

I am prioritizing experience, code quality, architecture, and communication. I am especially interested in developers who have previously built:

• Marketplace platforms
• Classified platforms
• SaaS applications
• Large searchable databases
• Arabic/RTL web applications

You should be comfortable recommending the appropriate frontend, backend, database, hosting, storage, and search architecture rather than simply following a predetermined stack.
