(Senior) DevOps Engineer / Consultant (m/w/d)

About the Role
As a (Senior) DevOps Engineer at nscon, you will typically take on the following responsibilities within customer projects:
Responsibilities
- Implement, manage, and maintain DevOps infrastructures
- Configure, deploy, and scale containers and microservices in a containerized environment
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes using appropriate tools and scripts
- Support customers with network & security automation & compliance requirements
- Work within an AGILE workflow: SCRUM, Kanban
- Perform problem analysis, troubleshooting & debugging, including log evaluation & analysis
- Handle incident, change & problem management (ITIL)
- Create and update documentation and SOPs
In the role of Consultant, you will also take on the following tasks:
- Advise customers on new technologies & implementations
- Design / architecture of partially complex environments / infrastructures
- (Partial) Project management
Requirements
Ideally, you have the following experience or background:
- Programming skills: preferably Python
- Network & Security knowledge / experience
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
- Config-Management / -Orchestration: Ansible, Terraform, Consul, GIT, IaC (Infrastructure as Code), CI/CD
- Modelling Languages: NETCONF/RESTCONF with YANG
- Data formats: YAML, JSON, XML
- API knowledge: REST-API, RPC
- Tools: Postman, Swagger
- Professional-level certification present or planned (we support you with this)
- Willingness to learn and openness to new technologies
- High self-motivation, quality awareness and a customer and results-oriented way of working
- Very good communication skills (German (at least C1) and English (at least B1/B2))
