About the Role

Above and Beyond Talent is seeking a Project Accountant responsible for managing the financial aspects of the Aurora project. This includes ensuring the accuracy of budgets and forecasts, time reporting, and meeting financial reporting standards.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is required.
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years in project accounting or a related role. Experience with project accounting software is required, including SAP; familiarity with Apptio One and Targetprocess.
Core Expertise: Strong background in project accounting, financial forecasting, and reconciliation.
Skills: Strong analytical abilities, high attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Financial Management: Assist in financial planning and management of the Aurora project, including time recording/valuation, capitalization, and PO forecasting versus actuals.
Variance Analysis: Investigate variances between budgeted and actual costs, providing actionable insights to project managers.
Collaboration: Partner with project managers and stakeholders to deliver timely financial information and support project objectives.
Reporting: Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and cost estimates using Apptio Targetprocess for project tracking and oversight.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards, particularly for internally developed technology accounting, including contract review and project cost performance reporting.

Compensation

Payrate: $40.00 - $45.00
