About the Project

We have launched an educational ingredient literacy app for skincare and makeup. Users can paste product URLs or scan ingredient lists, and the app provides a full breakdown, including:

Ingredient translation and analysis.
Animal testing policies and vegan status.
Government ban lists and regulatory info.
Common complaints and analysis against personal profiles (wanted/avoided ingredients, existing routines, foundation/base shades).
Allergen tracking, notes, and favorites.

We are currently finalizing an affiliate partnership with a K-beauty subscription box. We are looking for someone to handle marketing for the app initially, then transition into marketing the affiliate partnership.

Compensation

Budget: ~$700 for the first month (flexible).
Potential: Opportunity to extend month-to-month and build a long-term creative partnership.

Responsibilities

Strategy: Build and execute a comprehensive social media strategy.
Platforms: Focus on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Reddit.
Content Creation: Graphic design for posts (must align with our clean, dark editorial aesthetic).
Growth: Generate hype and drive app downloads.
Partnerships: Market the affiliate partnership once integrated.
Outreach: Compile and organize an influencer outreach pipeline.

Requirements

Human-Centric Content: We are not looking for AI-generated graphics or AI-written posts. Content must feel organic. (Using AI as a behind-the-scenes tool for brainstorming is acceptable).
Authenticity: No bot followers or paid engagement pods.
Communication: We are looking for specific ideas rather than generic proposals. Please outline what you would do in the first 30 days.

Bonus Points:

Experience with beauty brands, education platforms, or the alt/goth aesthetic space.
We are open to candidates with little to no experience, provided you have strong, actionable ideas.
