About the Role

We are seeking a Staff Deep Learning Computer Vision Engineer to own the zero-to-one architecture of our perception pipeline. This role is ideal for someone who has experience designing, training, and scaling complex perception stacks in areas like autonomous vehicles (AV), robotics, or AR/VR.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build the zero-to-one architecture of our perception pipeline.
  • Work closely with an Active Learning expert.
  • Tackle engineering problems such as:
    • Automated homography with unknown camera intrinsics/extrinsics
    • Temporal tracking through heavy occlusion
    • Multi-view sensor fusion

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of projective geometry.
  • Understanding of representation learning vs. pixel reconstruction.
  • Experience building robust active learning loops.
  • Experience in AV, robotics, AR/VR, or related fields demanding rigorous 3D spatial reasoning and multi-view fusion.

Compensation

  • Compensation at parity with tier-one AV companies (Tesla, Waymo).

Location

  • Remote.
  • Required to travel to Troy, MI for 1-2 weeks per quarter (paid).
  • Required to take meetings when needed during Eastern Time hours.
