About the Role

We are seeking a skilled YouTube video editor to create engaging videos in a style similar to modern explainer/storytelling channels.

You will be responsible for transforming scripts and voiceover narration into compelling YouTube videos using stock footage, motion graphics, and creative editing.

Project Scope

26 long-form YouTube videos over the next 6 months
Each video: 8–12 minutes
2–3 short clips per video for TikTok / YouTube Shorts / Reels
YouTube thumbnail design
Optimized YouTube title
SEO-friendly description

Editing Style Required

Fast-paced editing for high audience retention
Use of stock footage, images, memes, and b-roll
Animated text and simple motion graphics
Zooms, cuts, and transitions every few seconds
Visual storytelling that matches the narration

Deliverables per Video

One 8–12 minute YouTube video
2–3 vertical clips (30-60 seconds each)
One YouTube thumbnail
Title and description for the video

Requirements

Experience editing YouTube explainer or documentary-style videos
Ability to source stock footage and visual assets
Strong storytelling and pacing
Good understanding of YouTube retention and engagement
