Hey everyone! I'm looking for an editor who's comfortable with both After Effects and Photoshop for a motion comic project
I'll be providing the comic pages and voice lines from our voice acting team. The job involves taking the comic pages, preparing them for animation in Photoshop (removing text bubbles, separating elements into layers, cleanup, extending artwork/redrawing where needed), and then bringing them to life in After Effects using camera movement, parallax, puppet tool animation, compositing, sound effects, and other motion techniques.
AI tools are completely fine for cleanup, redraws, or extending artwork where it helps speed up the workflow.
The final videos will generally be around 12–15 minutes long. Pay is $350–400 per video. You'll be working on 2-3eps in this project, and I have multiple projects planned beyond it, so I'm looking for people interested in a long term working relationship rather than a one-off gig.
Before moving forward with full episodes, I'll be doing a small sample test (10sec) so we can make sure we're a good fit for each other's workflow and style.
If you're interested, send over your portfolio/showreel, examples of your AE work, and your preferred contact method (email, Instagram)
