About the Role
I am looking for someone to manage my social presence with a specific focus on pitching, negotiating, and closing brand deals.
I currently have established distribution with 20K+ followers on LinkedIn and ~100K monthly impressions across platforms. My newsletter is growing by ~500 subscribers per month. While I receive some inbound interest, I need someone to actively pursue opportunities, package media kits, and manage outreach.
The Setup
You will not be starting from a blank page. I provide all necessary tools, an AI stack, templates, and raw content. You will use my notes and existing content to build pitch decks and conduct outreach to brands within my space.
Compensation
- Commission: 15% of each brand deal sourced and closed.
- Growth Potential: Room to negotiate higher percentages for cold-sourced deals versus warm inbound leads.
- Note: This is a performance-based role with no flat monthly rate.
Responsibilities
- Building a media kit and pitch materials.
- Identifying and reaching out to relevant brands.
- Negotiating terms and closing deals.
- Ongoing account management for brands (deliverable tracking and posting to spec).
About Me
I am based in NYC and work in Big Tech. I have recently signed a book deal with a major tech publisher, am partnering with LinkedIn to create a course, and will be speaking at various conferences over the next year.
