About Midpage
Midpage (https://midpage.ai) is seeking a senior engineer to help catalog the world's legal data. Their dataset currently covers US case law and powers some of the largest law firms, legal technology platforms, and AI companies through their webapp, API, MCP, and custom data services. They are currently the only vendor openly selling this data widely in the US and customers appreciate that they have good citation linkages and a citator (indication of which judgments have been overruled/criticized).
They are looking to expand data coverage, adapt their infrastructure to their scaling enterprise needs, and find new ways to enrich their data offerings and delight their developer customers.
They are a team of 7, mostly in-office in lower Manhattan with a few remote/international teammates.
About the Role
They are seeking a backend generalist with deep Python + Postgres experience who's ready to move quickly.
Location
- Prefer NYC, but open to remote.
Compensation
- Full-time
- $170-240k + equity
