About the Role
We are seeking a Technology Compliance & Privacy Analyst with at least 3 years of experience in privacy, technology compliance, governance, or a related field to support a global Privacy & Technology Compliance Program.
Requirements
- Candidates will be evaluated primarily on their ability to demonstrate the competencies required to succeed in the role.
- Minimum of three years of experience in privacy, technology compliance, governance, or a related field.
- Professional privacy certification (e.g., CIPP) is strongly preferred.
- Additional IT-related certifications, such as Security+, are a plus.
- Paralegal experience reviewing contractual terms and managing legal matters is a plus.
- Experience in Information Security, digital marketing and e-commerce, or other IT-related functions is a plus.
- Strong English communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing) are required. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours to support a global organization, including significant overlap with U.S. Central and Eastern time zones.
Performance Objectives / What You'll Be Doing
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the business to support privacy and technology compliance initiatives.
- Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs/DPIAs) for programs, systems, advertising and marketing campaigns, digital platforms, and third-party vendors and services.
- Provide practical, easy-to-understand privacy and technology compliance guidance to business partners on a daily basis.
- Maintain Records of Processing Activities (RoPA), data maps, Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), Service Provider/Controller-Processor documentation, and other required compliance records globally.
- Monitor global privacy and technology regulations, conduct legal and regulatory research, and assess compliance implications.
- Identify recurring privacy and technology compliance issues and develop scalable solutions through training, guidance, and process improvements.
- Maintain and update privacy notices, policies, standards, guidelines, and operational processes for the global Privacy & Technology Compliance Program.
- Develop and maintain compliance playbooks for business and Digital Technology Services (DTS) teams.
- Analyze compliance trends, identify systemic issues, and prepare reports and dashboards for management.
- Advise digital and web teams on privacy requirements and support compliance tracking for digital initiatives.
- Design and deliver foundational and role-based privacy and technology compliance training for employees and contractors.
- Track, manage, and respond to Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and other privacy-related requests, as needed.
- Support the Privacy Counsel and Data Privacy Officer in auditing technology contracts for compliance with privacy, security, and AI requirements.
Compensation
- DR Payrate: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
- US Payrate: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
