Job Summary

Storyblok is hiring a Marketing Automation Manager to own the top of funnel systems and the campaigns that run through them: Pardot, website forms, list uploads, Clay, and the nurture programs, sequences, and webinar flows built in Pardot.

The role involves day-to-day campaign execution, list loading, and form building, while transitioning repeat work into templates and automations to focus on lead scoring, routing, data quality, and reporting. Sitting within Revenue Operations, this role works across Demand Generation, Events, Content, Partner Marketing, Sales Development, Sales Operations, and Analytics.

Essential Job Functions

1. Campaign Operations

  • Build and send list emails and sequences in Pardot and Knak (webinar invites, follow-ups, sequences, review asks, partner/event emails).
  • Build and run nurture programs in Engagement Studio (welcome, post-webinar, gated content, re-engagement) by segment and lifecycle stage.
  • Set up webinars end-to-end: registration forms, Zuddl to Pardot sync, campaign IDs, reminders, and follow-ups.
  • Build form handlers, autoresponders, and landing page forms on the Storyblok website.
  • Load lead lists from events, content syndication, and paid social; manage the request board (intake, SLA, QA).
  • Run optimization: Test subject lines, send times, and content; personalize by segment, industry, and stage.

2. Marketing Systems and Integrations

  • Administer Pardot and its Salesforce sync (users, connectors, field mapping, campaign member status).
  • Own the links between Pardot, Salesforce, the website, Zuddl, Knak, Meta, and Google Ads.
  • Run Clay: enrichment waterfalls, list building, and signal tables that feed BDR routing.
  • Evaluate, buy, and renew marketing tools.

3. Lead Flow, Scoring, and Routing Operations

  • Own lead scoring and grading, reviewed quarterly against conversion data.
  • Own lifecycle stages (MQL, SAL, SQL) and handoff rules to BDRs and AEs.
  • Integrate self-serve signups and product usage into scoring and lifecycle flows.

4. Data Quality and Reporting

  • Own the sync between the warehouse, Pardot, and Salesforce.
  • Keep the database clean: dedupe, normalize country/industry/title, manage suppression lists, and GDPR consent by region.
  • Own the campaign taxonomy and UTM standards.
  • Write SQL and Salesforce reports; build funnel and pipeline reports by source.
  • Monitor deliverability: domain health, bounce, and spam rates.

5. Automation, Process, and Cadence

  • Template repeat request types and automate them using Clay, LLM tools (Claude), and workflow builders (n8n or Zapier).
  • Write playbooks and train marketers to self-serve.
  • Report monthly on speed-to-lead, MQL-to-SQL rates, form-to-meeting rates, request turnaround, database coverage, and email engagement.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years in marketing operations or marketing automation, ideally in B2B SaaS.
  • Pardot administration: Salesforce connector, Engagement Studio, form handlers, campaign sync.
  • Salesforce fluency: campaigns, lead/contact fields, reports, and dashboards.
  • Proven experience building nurture programs and tracking conversion impact.
  • Experience running a high-volume request queue and implementing automations with workflow builders and LLM tools.
  • Lead scoring, lifecycle, and routing experience.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and hands-on experience with enrichment tools (Clay, ZoomInfo, or Apollo).
  • Knowledge of GDPR and regional consent management.
  • AI literacy: ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and decision-making.

Professional Competencies

  • Operating discipline: Runs a high-volume request queue on an SLA with QA before every launch.
  • Systems thinking: Understands the connectivity between Pardot, Salesforce, the website, Clay, and the warehouse.
  • Data fluency: Ability to pull numbers, define fields, and build reports independently.
  • Automation mindset: Templates repeat work and builds automations to remove manual tasks.
  • Attention to detail: Ensures accuracy in forms and lists.
  • Testing habit: Runs tests on every sequence and iterates based on results.
  • Cross-functional coordination: Aligns various departments around a unified lead flow.
  • Communication: Writes clear playbooks and guidance.

  • Compensation is based on scope, skills, experience, and relevant education.
