About the Role
You will be embedded within the Men's First Team analysis department, building the internal tooling used by analysts and coaches on a day-to-day basis. This role involves developing full-stack applications and applying machine learning to automate and augment football analysis.
The core challenge is to build tools that are genuinely useful to coaching staff and robust enough to withstand the demands of a live training and matchday schedule.
Technical Stack & Requirements
- Languages: Python, SQL, TypeScript
- Data Stack: PyData (Pandas/Polars, Altair, etc.)
- ML Frameworks: PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow
- Responsibilities: You will own projects end-to-end, from data processing through to the user interface.
- Desired Profile: Strong quantitative background, first-principles engineering judgment, and a keen eye for how insights are presented.
