Our Global SAP Center of Excellence (COE) team is looking for colleagues to lead data utilization across the entire company and support strategic decision-making.
This position is expected to demonstrate expertise in data management and analysis using SAP BW/BI and contribute directly to business growth by providing accurate and timely insights. Furthermore, as a business partner in the finance, legal, and HR areas, you will align business processes and requirements while promoting operational efficiency and advanced reporting.

Job Description
- As a SAP BW/BI solution architect, provide strategic direction and validate technical solutions in line with the company's data strategy and governance standards.
- Utilize SAP BW/BI to define and guide the company's overall data architecture, ensuring robust designs that enable data integration and sharing across global business functions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions that enable strategic insights and decision-making.
- As a key business partner in the finance, legal, and HR areas, align processes, requirements, and solutions to support operational efficiency and reporting needs.
- Collaborate with the Global ERP COE and regional IT teams to ensure that architecture and integration strategies support company goals and mid-term plans.
- Select and guide development and support partners to deliver high-quality solutions and services aligned with business and IT goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT roles supporting finance or ERP systems in a global company.
- SAP Expertise: Practical experience in the design, implementation, and operational support of SAP FICO and SAP BW.
- Understanding of Finance and Data Management: Deep knowledge of financial processes and data management principles.
- Business-level communication skills in both Japanese and English.
- Ability to understand business strategies and translate them into IT solutions that generate measurable business value.
- Experience in managing complex IT projects, including collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional collaboration.
