The right candidate has a passion for robustness, performance, security, and scalability. This candidate will be part of the core software engineers team and must be proficient in emerging web technologies.
Responsibilities
- Work with web & native app technologies to design and develop holistic product solutions.
- Build scalable systems and applications using languages like Node.JS.
- Utilize at least one component-based frontend framework like React.
- Perform testing on different levels: unit, integration, contract, and E2E.
- Work with distributed systems.
- Apply lean and agile practices.
- Cooperate with product and business stakeholders to build a trusting working environment.
- Demonstrate efficient communication and interpersonal skills.
- Contribute to an open, inclusive culture that supports learning and encourages collaboration.
- Participate in design and product discussions, taking ideas from concepts through production to launch.
- Face development issues with creative thinking.
- Maintain fluency in written and spoken English.
Must Haves
- Deliver value iteratively by building high-quality applications and features.
- Build, maintain, and take ownership of a rich ecosystem of applications and services.
- Ensure that the systems you own are healthy, resilient, and perform well.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on feature design, architectural decisions, and assessing technical debt.
- Shape our coding guidelines and quality standards.
- Experience with interactive application development.
- Write efficient and maintainable code.
- A love of Git.
- Be highly flexible and take a pro-active role.
- Familiarity with Agile processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English across business situations.
Bonus Skills
- Experience in Vue.js, ReactJS.
- Experience in writing automated tests and TDD (or similar) to ensure functionality and quality.
