I'm the founder of a software development agency, and we're looking for a smart, articulate, and adaptable person to join our team in a long-term, client-facing role.

What matters most to me isn't how good you are at coding. It's your character, communication skills, business judgment, and ability to learn quickly.

We already have experienced developers handling technical execution. What we need is someone who understands software development and can help bridge the gap between our developers and clients.

What you'll do

\- Participate in client meetings, project discussions, and technical conversations as an identified representative of our agency.

\- Understand client needs and communicate them clearly to our developers.

\- Explain technical concepts and project updates in a professional, easy-to-understand way.

\- Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and ongoing client communication.

\- Prepare for discussions by learning about our developers' experience, previous projects, and relevant technologies.

\- Build strong, professional relationships with clients and help keep projects running smoothly.

Who we're looking for

You don't need to be a senior software engineer. We're open to former developers, coding bootcamp graduates, technical professionals, and people transitioning into client-facing roles.

Ideally, you have:

\- Excellent spoken English (C1/C2 preferred) and strong interpersonal skills.

\- A practical understanding of software development, preferably full-stack development or AI.

\- Strong business sense and the ability to understand what clients actually need.

\- Confidence communicating with US-based clients and technical teams.

\- The ability to think on your feet and handle unfamiliar situations.

\- A responsible, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

\- Reliable availability during US business hours.

Familiarity with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, cloud technologies, or AI/LLMs is a plus, but expertise in all these areas is not required.

Compensation

\- Initial work: $40+/hour for meetings and related responsibilities, with the exact rate agreed upon before starting.

\- Ongoing project assignments: Approximately $800 - $1200/month per assigned project, depending on workload and responsibilities, subject to applicable minimum-wage requirements.

\- Growth potential: Team members managing multiple projects may earn approximately $3000 - $5000/month, depending on capacity and assignments.

We're looking to build a long-term working relationship, and we'll provide training and support as you learn our processes.

How to apply

Please send me with:

1. A brief introduction and your professional background.

2. Your experience with software development, AI, or technical projects.

3. Any experience communicating with clients, managing projects, or working in a business-facing role.

4. Your spoken English proficiency and availability during US business hours.

5. Your expected hourly rate.

One final thing:

I'd rather work with someone who's reasonably technical, dependable, personable, and eager to learn than an exceptional developer who struggles to communicate or collaborate.

If that sounds like you, I'd love to hear from you!
