About the Role
Are you motivated by setting a clear commercial direction, leading through other leaders, and at the same time being close to the market? Do you thrive in the intersection of strategic management, project sales, and technical consulting – and do you want to play a central role in the realization of Saint-Gobain's growth strategy Lead & Grow? Then this is a key role in an ambitious and value-driven organization.
As Application Sales Director, you will have overall responsibility for the sales and technical application of Saint-Gobain's solutions to the professional construction and project market in Denmark. The position is at the director level and is part of the management team for Saint-Gobain Denmark, reporting to CEO Mick Schou Rasmussen.
You lead an organization of 16 employees consisting of team leaders, specialists, and consultants. Your leadership style is clear, engaging, and pragmatic – with a focus on creating direction, structure, and results through others.
You work in a global group where clear strategies, roadmaps, reporting, EHS, and safety agendas set the overall framework, and where integrity and Saint-Gobain's values are the foundation for leadership and collaboration.
A Central Role in the Lead & Grow Strategy
Application Sales is a key component of Saint-Gobain's growth ambition Lead & Grow and in the ambition to go to the market as one Saint-Gobain with a combined value proposition. Growth is created through a clear move from product focus to solutions and specified sales – with high commercial discipline and clear prioritization.
As Application Sales Director, you have overall responsibility for growth, sales, and performance within your area. You develop and execute the sales and application strategy based on data, market and customer insights, and ensure that solutions are specified, selected, and applied correctly in the projects.
A significant part of the role will be to build and develop Saint-Gobain's business within Construction Chemicals and Infrastructure. Here you will have an independent and clear responsibility to establish this business area in Denmark – including the three brands Chryso, GCP, and Fosroc – and create market position, customer impact, and profitable growth.
The business is developed in existing markets - residential and non-residential, while the opportunities in the development of infrastructure in Denmark provide new growth opportunities.
