About the Role
I’m hiring a part-time freelancer to help grow The Boring Fix, a veteran-owned business based in Colorado. We provide TV mounting and other home installation services, and publish practical digital guides covering home projects, credit, and business lessons.
I already have customer reviews, job photos, articles, and guides. I’m looking for someone who can turn those materials into inquiries, bookings, and product sales.
Responsibilities
- Promote our local home services through one agreed marketing channel.
- Turn existing photos, reviews, and articles into useful promotional content.
- Track inquiries and results in a simple weekly report.
- Help promote our free and paid guides as we establish a routine.
Compensation and Schedule
- Pay: $20 USD/hour.
- Hours: Start with 5 hours per week.
- Flexibility: Remote, with flexible working hours and a brief weekly check-in.
- Growth: Potential for ongoing work after the paid trial.
Paid Trial Details
- Scope: 5 hours at $20/hour ($100 total), completed within one week on an agreed schedule.
- Tasks: Review our existing materials, recommend one focused campaign, create two ready-to-use promotional pieces, and set up a simple results tracker.
- Terms: We will agree on the scope before starting. Additional hours require agreement. Trial payment is for your work and does not depend on generating sales or being hired afterward.
- Evaluation: I’ll evaluate your judgment, writing, accuracy, and communication. I value someone who works independently, follows through, and is honest about their experience.
