Job Title: Senior AI Engineer (Contract)
I’ve been trying to fill this role and honestly, finding the right mix of experience has been harder than I expected. I am looking for a senior engineer to join an AI project.
About the Role
The work involves building data pipelines, reviewing AI outputs, and developing criteria to judge their quality. A significant part of the role is being able to explain why one response is better than another.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Go.
- Specialization: Hands-on experience with AI preference data or evaluation rubrics.
- Availability: At least 20 hours/week and 4 hours/day.
- Time Zone: Must have 4 hours of overlap with Pacific time.
- Eligibility: Must be based in the US or Canada.
- Restriction: Candidates currently working at Microsoft cannot be considered.
Compensation & Terms
- Pay: $100–$150 USD/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Contract Length: 3 months (looking for someone who can start soon).
- Employment Type: Contractor role (no medical benefits or paid leave).
- Location: Remote (US/Canada).
