About the Role
Sitewire is a construction finance platform that helps lenders and real estate investors track projects, automate work verification, and speed up payments. We are a small, fully-remote team with a profitable product that has expanded organically 3x per year. We are now looking to roughly double the size of our engineering team as we enter our next phase of growth.
We are looking for smart, pragmatic full-stack engineers who operate with a high degree of autonomy and ownership. This is not a ticket factory: you will work directly with our PM to turn product briefs into new platform features and will have a hand in shaping the architecture and design of the things you build.
Technical Stack
- Client-side: React and React Native
- Database: Postgres
- Backend: Currently powered by a Ruby on Rails monolith (gradually migrating off)
Note: You do not need experience with Rails. We are looking for React experience combined with solid backend engineering experience in any modern language.
The Interview Process
Our process is designed to be straightforward:
- Phone screen/behavioral interview.
- A 1-hour coding challenge (your choice of a live session or a take-home).
- A presentation on a project you designed and feel particularly proud of (or find particularly interesting).
