About the Role
We are seeking a 2D animator to create a small pack of short, looping animations of cartoon eyes for a tiny screen on a figurine. The style should be similar to "Dasai Mochi": simple, expressive eye-only animations (no mouth).
What We Need
We need the following animations:
- 4–6 seamless looping eye animations (each ~1–2 seconds):
- idle + blink
- look left/right
- angry/squint
- surprised
- happy/smug
- (You can propose 1–2 more if you have a good idea)
- 1 optional “hero” animation (max 5 seconds):
- A butterfly moves across the screen, and the eyes track it with expressive reactions (your stylization encouraged).
Specs/Deliverables
- Resolution: 240x240
- FPS: 24
- Background: solid black
- Deliverables: PNG frame sequence (or sprite sheet) + a GIF/MP4 preview
We will provide: eye design/reference + any constraints you need.
Budget/Pay
- Total budget: 320 CAD fixed for the pack (or hourly equivalent up to that budget; $25–$40 CAD/hr is fine).
- Paid micro-test: 30–40 CAD for a 1-second idle/blink loop at the final specs. If it matches, we proceed with the full set.
