[Hiring] Long-Term Video Presenter / Spokesperson for Grant Pitch Videos (Short 15-Sec Audition Required)

Source: reddit-r-forhire

Hi Reddit!

We are a growing digital agency that empowers artists and creatives by bridging the gap between technology and creativity. We are expanding our operations and looking to build long-term relationships with reliable, professional, on-camera talent to serve as our "go-to" representatives for business grant pitches.

Many of our funding applications require a high-quality 1-to-2-minute video pitch or a live-recorded Q&A response addressing specific grant questions. To ensure you’ve read this entire post and aren’t an automated bot account, please include the word pickles somewhere in your DM or message subject line. Because different grants look for different brand representations, we are currently building a diverse roster of talent to bring our scripts to life.

About the Role

  • Type: Ongoing, project-based / freelance.
  • Location: Remote (Global, but must be available for reliable communication).

Compensation

  • Fixed-price per video (Open to negotiation depending on experience. Please include your rate expectations in your message, e.g., $20–$70+ per 1–2 minute completed video).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, confident, and professional on-camera presentations based on pre-written scripts.
  • Record short (1–2 minute) grant pitch videos or video responses to specific application questions.
  • Provide clean, high-quality video files (1080p/4K) with crisp audio, professional lighting, and a distraction-free background.
  • Maintain responsiveness and reliability—grant deadlines are strict, so quick-turnaround availability is highly valued.

Requirements

  • High English Proficiency (C1/C2 Level): Must have excellent vocal clarity, steady pacing, a charismatic screen presence, and a clear, natural English accent suited for North American corporate/non-profit grant panels.
  • Access to a professional home recording setup (high-quality camera/smartphone, crisp microphone, and solid lighting).
  • Ability to read from a teleprompter or notes naturally without appearing as though you are reading.
  • Open to beginners, UGC creators, and rising talent looking to build a portfolio!

How to Apply (Crucial Audition Step)

To help us quickly evaluate screen presence, background setup, and audio quality, we ask all applicants to submit a brief, 15-second test video reading the snippet below.

Please send a DM with a link to your 15-second test clip (via Google Drive, Loom, Imgur, etc.), your per-video rate expectations, and a brief sentence about why you'd be a great fit.

We look forward to working with you!
