Close is a CRM for small and midsize sales teams with over 11,000 paying customers. In 2026, we shipped Chloe, our AI agent that makes sales calls and works inside the CRM.
Backend Engineers (Senior / Staff)
Tech Stack: Python, Flask/FastAPI, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch.
We are hiring for two teams:
- CRM Team: Focuses on agentic enrichment, AI search, and making the CRM usable by any MCP agent. Elasticsearch experience is a big plus.
- Backend Platforms Team: A new team building "paved roads" for our engineers (API patterns, observability, migrating from Flask to FastAPI) and guardrails for agent-written code.
Requirements:
- Experience shipping LLM features to real users.
- Proven experience owning production systems.
Sr. Software Engineer (Marketing)
We are looking for our first engineer dedicated to close.com.
Tech Stack: Astro, Sanity, Vercel.
Responsibilities:
- Own motion and interactivity, performance, SEO, and conversion tracking.
- Build tools so the Marketing team can ship updates without waiting on engineering.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience building marketing sites.
- Experience with Segment/Amplitude-style analytics.
