Job Title: Short-Form Video Editor (India Only)

About the Role

I am looking for a video editor based in India to help edit short-form talking-head content for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok. This will be straightforward content for a digital marketing-focused channel. I will provide the raw vertical footage, a rough idea of the hook/topic, and any necessary references (such as photos).

Responsibilities

Clean cuts and removal of pauses/dead space.
Accurate, readable captions/subtitles.
Basic punch-ins/zooms, text callouts, simple transitions, and relevant light B-roll when it adds value.
Background music at a low level where appropriate.
9:16 export, ready to post across Shorts, Reels, and TikTok.
Clean, modern editing—avoiding overdone effects or distracting edits.

Requirements

Location: Must be based in India.
Volume: Approximately 20–30 videos per month.
Turnaround: Ability to turn around an edit within 2–3 days.
Experience: Comfortable editing talking-head educational/business content.
Skills: Able to follow a reference style and take feedback.
Reliability: Consistent communication and reliability are prioritized over a large portfolio.

Compensation

Rate: ₹350–₹500 INR per short (depending on complexity).
Potential: At 20–30 videos per month, you can earn well over ₹10,000.
Terms: Ongoing work if we are a good fit.
Payment: Weekly payments via UPI, bank transfer, or PayPal.
