About the Role
Installs, troubleshoots, and provides technical maintenance for hardware and software of products and components, primarily at the customer's facilities. Offers scheduled inspections, cleaning, and other services, and performs minor product repairs within an assigned territory. Inspects products to ensure proper functioning and resolves detected problems or escalates them according to established procedures. Schedules services, completes all necessary documentation, and collaborates with clients to ensure their satisfaction with the service provided and understanding of product operation.
Responsibilities
- Familiarizes themselves with the practices and procedures of field service technicians.
- With guidance or in collaboration with more experienced technicians, performs any or all of the following tasks:
- Incident Management: Uses diagnostic tools for troubleshooting through detailed analysis of hardware and software failures.
- Performs hardware repairs at the component level.
- Cleans and adjusts mechanical components.
- Configures and installs the corresponding software.
- Preventive Maintenance: Performs routine checks according to documented procedures. Refills consumables according to instructions.
- IMAC/R: Installs, moves, adds, modifies, and removes hardware and software products.
- Customer Training: Instructs and trains customers on the use and operation of installed hardware and software.
- Participates in regular hardware and software training (on-the-job, in-person, and online).
- Participates in the implementation of measures to achieve agreed-upon KPIs.
- Collaborates on special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Academic training or equivalent work experience is required.
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience in field services.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
