[Hiring] Freelance Print-File Editor — Quick Recurring Edits (Remote, Worldwide)

About the Role

I run a small print brokerage and am looking for a go-to person for quick, ongoing edits to existing artwork. This is recurring, repeat work, and I am looking to build a steady rhythm with one reliable person.

Note: I am not looking for redesigns, rebuilds, branding projects, or "start from scratch" work. This role is strictly for fast, accurate changes to files that already exist.

Responsibilities

Swap contact information (address, phone number, name) on business cards.
Update names, titles, or logos on forms and letterheads.
Drop in small, supplied graphics.
Perform minor text, layout, or color tweaks on labels, booklets, and packaging.

Requirements

Accuracy, consistency, and clean files are the top priorities. Because files are sent straight to production, all work must be press-ready, including:

CMYK color mode.
300 DPI resolution.
Proper bleed settings.
Press-ready PDFs with fonts outlined.
Native files (AI, INDD, PSD) returned with tidy, organized layers.
Consistent brand/Pantone colors across reorders.
Die lines kept on their own overprint layer.

Turnaround

Reliable edits within 12–24 hours (faster is preferred when possible).

Location

Remote: Anywhere in the world is acceptable. (The employer is based in Atlantic Time, Nova Scotia, Canada).

Compensation

Open to either a per-edit flat rate or an hourly rate.
Per-edit is preferred given the nature of the small, quick tasks, but the employer is flexible.
