About the Role

The Technical Trainer is responsible for presenting full product overviews, technical deployment details, and hardware configuration instructions to customer (MSO) technical specialists and field technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Presenting full overviews of product offerings and deployment scenarios based on client requirements.
  • Explaining full configuration for all involved hardware, including 3rd-party equipment.
  • Creating training materials, including text and graphics (with assistance from a designer).
  • Recording live narrated training sessions.

  • Configuration for the DOCSIS core
  • Configuration for the PON core
  • Video streaming configuration
  • Network L2/L3 switching configuration for multiple vendors

Note: This role does not require debugging or accessing code, but you must be able to explain all customer-facing technical aspects.

Requirements

  • Travel: Up to 50% mandatory travel for on-site, in-person training sessions (variable throughout the year). In practice, this is typically 1–2 work weeks every 2 months.
  • Language: Fluent or very high level of spoken English.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with networking and/or DOCSIS is required. Experience with both is highly preferred.
  • Office Requirement: No requirement to work in a physical office.
