Job Title: Cold Caller for Australian Local Businesses

About the Role
I am looking for a cold caller to assist a new advertising business targeting local businesses (cafes, restaurants, gyms, barbers, beauty businesses, etc.) across various Australian suburbs.
The goal is not to close sales over the phone. Your objective is to reach the owner or manager, explain the service, and gauge their interest. If they are interested, you will confirm their email address so I can follow up with further information.
What I Provide
- A list of businesses to call
- A script and talking points
- Answers to common questions and objections
- A spreadsheet to track calls
- An Australian business number to make the calls from
Compensation
I am starting with a paid trial of 50 businesses.
- Base Pay: $75 AUD for completing the 50-business list.
- Performance Bonus: $10 AUD for every qualified interested lead.
Definition of a Qualified Lead:
- You have spoken directly to the owner, manager, or the person who makes advertising decisions.
- They are genuinely interested in hearing more.
- They have explicitly agreed to be contacted via email.
- Note: Simply obtaining an email address or being told to "send something through" by a receptionist does not count as a lead.
Requirements
- Language: Must speak very good English.
- Communication: Must be confident talking to business owners and sound natural (not like you are reading word-for-word from a script).
- Experience: Previous cold calling or sales experience is a plus, but not strictly required.
- Availability: Calls must be made during Adelaide business hours.
Future Opportunities
If you perform well, there will be more work available after the initial 50 businesses, with the potential for ongoing work as the business expands into other areas.
