About the Role
We're Hanabi, a product design & web dev studio. We are spinning up an illustration division and looking for one or two specialists to partner with on a long-term basis. We bring the clients and handle the business side, while you manage the artwork. We are looking for a long-term partnership rather than short-term arrangements.
Hiring Styles
We are looking for expertise in one or both of the following styles:
- Game / Server Illustration: Bold, characterful art in the vein of Minecraft and Rust server branding. This includes hero art, server banners, Discord assets, loading screens, and mascots. Usually raster/painted.
- Flat Vector / Brand Illustration: Clean, geometric, system-based work in the style of SeatGeek's illustration library. This includes marketing illustrations, spot icons, banners, and logos. Must be vector (Illustrator).
Compensation
- Payment: Per-project paid work.
- Budget: Discussed per brief. For the first client, the budget is approximately $250.
