You will be responsible for modernizing legacy systems, designing, developing, and evolving scalable AI-enabled solutions that connect traditional technologies with modern architectures. This role requires strong full-stack development skills, a willingness to work with legacy languages, and the ability to integrate machine learning and generative AI features into corporate applications. You will collaborate daily in English with global multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications in both frontend and backend layers.
- Contribute to the modernization of legacy systems, enabling integration with modern platforms, APIs, and services.
- Integrate APIs, machine learning models, and AI services into applications to expand functionalities and automation.
- Collaborate with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and platform teams to deliver AI-driven solutions.
- Participate in the design and architecture of modernization and AI-based solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and maintenance.
- Apply best practices of clean code, versioning, automated testing, documentation, and CI/CD.
- Explore, prototype, and apply solutions with Generative AI, NLP, computer vision, and intelligent automation as needed by the project.
- Support the gradual migration and coexistence of legacy and modern technologies, ensuring stability and business continuity.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Graduation in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related areas.
- Advanced English for daily collaboration with international teams.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer in corporate environments or complex systems.
- Strong practical experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
- Willingness and curiosity to learn and work with legacy languages such as COBOL, Natural/Adabas, PL/I, or similar.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a proactive mindset and a focus on continuous learning.
Desirable
- Experience with Groovy, Python, or React.
- Practical experience with Docker and containerized environments.
- Familiarity with graph databases like Neo4j.
- Experience in integrating applications with Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Knowledge in the configuration and orchestration of AI Agents.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Exposure to legacy modernization toolkits or frameworks.
