About the Role

I'm looking to hire an Etsy-focused Print on Demand Operations Assistant based in India for a long-term role.

This is not a generic VA position. I’m specifically looking for someone with hands-on POD experience, who understands how Etsy listings, variations, mockups, and customer communication actually work. Experience with Shopify and Tiktok shop are a bonus.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

Creating and uploading POD listings on Etsy
Managing variations (sizes, colors, personalization)
Creating clean, on-brand mockups (Canva / Photoshop)
Making basic design edits (text changes, alignment, resizing)
Writing and optimizing Etsy titles, tags, and descriptions (frameworks provided)
Updating existing listings and improving underperforming ones
Handling Etsy customer support:
- Messages
- Order issues
- POD-related problems (delays, reprints, replacements)

Requirements

Strong Etsy Print on Demand experience (Printify, Printful, Gelato, or similar)
Experience uploading and managing high volumes of Etsy listings
Basic design skills:
- Canva (required)
- Photoshop or similar (preferred)
- Comfortable editing text-based designs
Excellent attention to detail
Clear written English for customer messages
Able to follow SOPs and workflows exactly
Reliable internet + consistent availability

Nice to Have

Understanding of Etsy SEO (titles, tags, attributes)
Experience working with multiple Etsy shops
Familiarity with order issue resolution in POD
Long-term client references

Location

India only (important for time zone alignment and long-term collaboration)

Pay

Monthly
Competitive rates based on experience
Paid probation period required before long-term hiring
