About the Role

SkySafe (https://skysafe.io) is seeking a Wireless Communications Engineer with SDR expertise to join the team. This is a hybrid on-site role in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Build drone detection and tracking systems at scale.

  • Implement both open and recovered specifications.
  • Refactor existing modem code to improve it in both theory and practice.

  • Proficiency in reading and writing C++ directly.
  • Ability to work on-site in San Diego as needed.
  • Eligible US Person (due to access to technology controlled by US Export laws).

Compensation

  • Salary: $145,000 - $200,000
