About the Role

We are looking for detail-oriented Task Creators to design complex logic puzzles used to train the next generation of AI models. This is not simple data labeling. You will be "reverse engineering" complex logic flows, creating tasks that require models to perform multi-step reasoning, negative constraint filtering, and conditional logic.

You will work with API-style environments (JSON data), verify model outputs, and design "unambiguous" prompts that force models to reason deeply.

The Details

Rate: $40 USD / hour. Subject to increase to higher rates for top performances
Location: Remote. All countries that are compliant with Deel are accepted
Work Type: Freelance/Contract.

Requirements

Education: STEM Degree is required (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math).
Language: Fluent or Native English is required for this role. Provide proof of English speaking if you are not from a English speaking country.
Experience: Previous experience in AI Training / RLHF / Data Annotation is required.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with APIs, reading JSON structures, and basic coding concepts (CS background) is highly desirable.
Mindset: You must be capable of creating "dense" reasoning tasks (e.g., "If X is true, do Y, otherwise do Z") rather than simple retrieval tasks.

Selection Process

Application: Fill out the Google Form linked below.
Selection: We will select a cohort of ~100 candidates to proceed to the next stage.
Tryouts: Selected candidates will be invited via email to complete a tryout/calibration set to demonstrate their ability to follow complex guidelines. Those who pass this stage will be allowed to log time for this stage.
Onboarding: 30~ candidates will be invited to an onboarding call, where we talk more about our mission and how we operate, and go through another example task from an environment you didn't work in.
