About the Role

You will work on projects of moderately medium-complex scope and collaborate with intercompany teams. You will be expected to exercise independent judgment within defined practices and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Address service work orders for PCs, laptops, cabling, televisions, projectors, phones, peripherals, and site security equipment.
- Assist with the support of data center and application architecture.
- Assist with troubleshooting basic network issues.
- Administer switches, routers, and firewalls with the assistance of the Nutanix Remote Resolver Team.
- Assist with configuring routers and switches under the guidance of the Nutanix remote resolver team.
- Assist with the integration and customization of hardware components on operating systems and networks under the guidance of the Nutanix remote resolver team.
Requirements
- Experience: Typically 2–5 years of relevant experience.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills (e.g., reporting), with the ability to run workshops for information collation.
- Technical Knowledge: Working technical knowledge of the equipment and systems listed in the responsibilities.
- Infrastructure: Knowledge of backup, tape, and exchange infrastructures.
Training and Certification
- Nutanix Training: Partner Field Engineers (FEs) are required to complete a 1-hour online training course on basic Nutanix hardware replacement processes.
- Certification: The training is provided free of charge by Hemmersbach and includes a 20-question test.
- Pass Rate: FEs must achieve a pass rate of above 90% to be considered a Qualified Technician. Partners must not send an FE to a site who has not completed this training.
