**This is my second post because I realized I needed to be a little more specific.**
I’m an independent founder building an **Apple Watch + iPhone fitness app** focused on **automatic workout detection and rep counting**.
The app is already built, and the UI is largely complete. I’m **not looking for someone to redesign it from scratch.** I’m looking for someone who can actually use it during workouts, identify friction points, and help make the experience simpler, faster, and more intuitive.
This is less about creating beautiful mockups and more about improving the product through real-world testing and thoughtful UX decisions.
**I’m looking for someone who:**
Works out regularly (this is important)
Ideally uses an Apple Watch while training
Has experience with iOS UX (Apple Watch UX is a huge plus, but not required)
Enjoys testing products and finding usability issues
Thinks deeply about user flows and reducing friction
Can suggest ways to reduce taps, simplify screens, and improve the overall experience
Experience with fitness, health, or wearable apps is a bonus
**You’ll help answer questions like:**
Where do users hesitate?
Which screens or interactions feel unnecessary?
What can be simplified?
How can we make workouts feel effortless?
How should the Apple Watch and iPhone experiences work together?
The app is already in **TestFlight**, so you’ll be testing a real product—not just reviewing mockups or wireframes.
I’m looking for someone who enjoys both **fitness and product design** and isn’t afraid to challenge existing ideas if there’s a better solution.
This is a **paid freelance opportunity** with the potential for ongoing work as the app continues to evolve.
