Job Title: Nominee Director (U.K.)

Source: reddit-r-forhire

About the Role

I am an American director of a U.K. limited company that sells on Amazon. Due to HMRC VAT residency rules, Amazon currently remits VAT on my sales to remain in compliance, which significantly hampers my business cash flow.

I am seeking to appoint a U.K. Resident Nominee Director to resolve these residency requirements. This appointment is not for anonymity; my name will be listed publicly alongside yours on Companies House.

Compensation

  • Annual Appointment Fee: £700 (One-time fee).
  • Renewal: Likely at the same or higher rates (negotiable).

Requirements

  • Must be a U.K. resident.
  • Must provide KYC documentation (e.g., U.K. photo card driving license, utility bill).
  • Must be willing to sign a Legal Agreement with an Indemnity Clause (to protect the Nominee Director from HMRC VAT obligations or any legal debts incurred by the business).
  • Must provide a Companies House Personal Authentication Code.

Responsibilities

  • No administrative duties are required aside from providing the necessary KYC documentation.

Additional Information

  • Copies of my identification and recent VAT returns will be provided upon request to verify the legitimacy of the business and address any security concerns.

How to Apply

  • Please DM for serious inquiries.
